Guest Keeps
After reading a thread on here mansbestfriend put up about ferreting with his deer x I decided it was about time we took our old girl out ferreting for the first time. Now she’s no small dog, she measures 29†to the shoulder. She took to it well but shes not one for standing around much marking some burrows Quote Link to post
Guest Keeps
& wandering around quite a bit doing her own thing we set the nets and waited our resident spectator :11: who was even good enough to smile for the camera on request Quote Link to post
Guest Keeps
Indie was his usual well-behaved self (most of the time  ) We’d just decided nothing was happening in one of the sets and started pull the nets up when two bunnies bolted together, his reflexes were sharp though and he nailed one of them straight away I had my hands full of nets at the time  It rained most of the day, so I didn’t manage to get many action shots The ferreting was really slow  so we decided to call it a day, and make our way back to the car on the way back Indie coursed and caught another, with the plummer not far behind him.. shes getting fitter again Our deer x was OK ferreting, not the best I would have said :11: but then together with Indie she caught more in the fields than we got ferreting today :11: Quote Link to post
