i would like to see the likes of finlay calder in charge of scotland a man with a bit passion and has done the hours on the pitch david soul is another ,personally i dont think frank haddon shows any real passion great at standing drooling on to press but that dont lift the team

finlay calder, theres a player :clapper: where did you play your rugby, i used to love playing down the borders, but hated the days travelling to get there!!

Used to make me laugh when we played Hawick as most places you went after the match the players would go to the club house and turn on the TV to get the footy scores etc, not the hawick boys they would put the racing channel on, they were racing mad!!

:whistling: yip funny i like horse racing

i never played the game (as you can tell by my dashing good looks) but really enjoy watching, ive noticed that a lot of siblings seem to play for their country at the same time as in leslie, lamont, underwood, calder, hastings, is this because their are a limited amount of lads playing the game.

It should be a good game. Good luck to both sides, may the best team win.

Obviously i'll be supporting England, I might have to listen on the radio as i'm out with the foxhounds tomorrow rather than actually going to our early kick off game.

its exellent having the competitiveness between the scots and england, i hope its a great game with obviously england winning ( i hope), but if the scots are better on the day fairplay. getting to football, with england and scotland not in the euro finals this would of been an exellent time to bring back the famous scots v england clash , a mouthwatering fixture for the new wembley. im sure both sets of fans want it so why hasnt it happend? maybe the england players with over inflated egos and wage packets are not up for the fight or more so they know the scotland team have more than a good chance of victory?
now that would be good to see ,last thing i rember about a scotland england football game was gazza knocking the ball over a scotsman head in the box and then smacking it home :o and i think that was the game where mcalistair went to take penalty and the ball moved :o but rugby is my game and stuff the best on day stuff :D come on scotland

that was a cracking goal, always sticks in my mind, shame the guy has ended up the way he has, such a waste of talent, hope he has a speedy recovery and wish him all the best

Looks like I'll be waching the game in the P.U.B..............wearing my kilt and England shirt.....showing my mixed blood!

But TBH I don't think Scotland have a chance in hell, not that England have been playing at their best but they are still consistantly better than Scotland I'm afraid.

Either way it'll be a good craic and we'll have a few :drink::drink:
