IMO the ban on hunting came about totally through ignorance, and a lack of education. People seem to equate death with suffering, which is totally wrong, it is the quality of life, not an animals end that is relevent to suffering and welfare.

 

The capture of 'urban' foxes, and their release into the countryside where the starve to death an spread mange, now thats animal cruelty!

The release of hundreds of mink from a mink farm, to allow them to decimate local populations of amphibians, birds, and small mammmals, well thats animal cruelty!

 

I think that there is something wrong with the education system in that people no longer associate the meat on their plate with an animal in the field.

Labour Tw**s that's who to blame doing what they have done since some morons who should know no better voted them in that is ban everything bring new law after new law and none of them enforceable.

I have been hunting illegally 90 odd percent of the time for the last 30 years ,it didn't stop me before and wont now.

I'm sure you had a much better education than I did as i was booted from every school I set foot in, I saw my days out in a school with bars on the windows and I had to stay there all the time even at weekends . That's probably why I value my freedom so much now!
