mistwalker 0
Went to the SECC last night to see the Chemical Brothers and was itching to try out my new lens. Mrs Misty (in her INFINITE bloody wisdom  ) says "They'll take it off you before you go in" So, the camera was left gathering dust for another night . I get there and EVERY bugger and their dog has a camera or a MP camera phone! So, out comes my trusty Nokia 6230 and get this I've spent all day kicking myself about the shots I could have got... bolio 51
Could'nt agree more Mistwalker, after attending Besties funeral on saturday we had tickets to see another genius, aussie guitar maestro, Tommy Emmanuel, who was playing in Belfasts magnificent Waterfront hall. As usual I had forgotten to bring my camera but the music was mesmerising. Having listened to Tommy for years on cd and almost worn out the dvd of his Mississipi concert, there is no comparison to seeing him live. A call would go up from the audience for a particular tune and Tommy would launch into the most intricate rendition, throwing in all sorts of improvised runs while making it look so easy. As a touching tribute to "El Beatle" he even dedicated his Beatles medly to Bestie. To anyone who ever picked up a guitar, if you only ever see one concert again in your life, check out Tommy Emmanuel and marvel at the magic that can be created by a plywood box with six strings.............bearing in mind he only has the same number of fingers as the rest of us http://www.tommyemmanuel.com/
