Guest pan.handle
BD had decided to give his pup her 1st experience of this wonderfull game of rabbitting. We'd been going to take her for a couple of wks now but the weather had been against us. Anyway weather forecast checked and we were off this morning hoping for a bit of crack for the dog...... Pleased to say she took to it straight away, she'd only been out of the vehicle 20 seconds and she was chasing. She put up a good chase but the coney managed to make it to the wall sad.gif The weather turned damp but the main thing was the ground was perfect for running. She managed to catch a couple of bolted coneys (to wet for pics) ( as the morning progressed it stopped raining, only out for a few hrs but the young dog really enjoyed herself, here's a few pic's took to marking straight away a nice tight turn   another one made it to the wall it's in there somewhere there was no messing with this one, nice fast reactions just getting the hang of it when this happened what a dilema on your 1st trip thought we'd have a close up of this one could do with some colours and a whip on the ferret this happened at the next warren, must show respect to the ferrets..... all in all a good day, a nice couple of hrs out... all the best Pan Quote Link to post

Eggy 0
Again, excellent piccies. A nice bit of rodeo action (ferret& rabbit ) Very nice pup! ....Im getting more&more convinced (crazy theory) that lurchers with big ears have more brains, and are steady (many woundn't stand for a ferret bite!) I bet somebody would dismiss that Cheers Eggy Quote Link to post
