Both mate but the rabbits belly's are more full in the earlier hours so they can be a little slower. + Nobody is about

I'm usually out an hour after dark for a couple of hours everynight................and see the same amount of rabbits at this time as if I went later.

 

I prefer goin out later.......why, I know not......but have to get up and at em before Raynards does........... If Im half an hour late on one permission................I can bet a pound to a pinch of shit that the jobs knackered

after the pub shuts. like earlier thread siad, they've had longer to fill there bellys, and get further out from the bury/hedge

Usually go about 11.30 but went just after 9 one night and to be honest there were more about,and further out in the fields.Think everywhere is different.

i prefer later, once farmer palmer has gone to bed

i find that in different areas, that different quarry will show up at different times

 

about 20miles west of me, i got out an hour after dark and usually see more.

 

if i go 20 miles north, i leave it till late on, and see more

so it is slightly better to go later on then as they are full so do they still have a tendansy to run when they are full (bloted)haha ????????

the later the better as a rule of thumb, but there are no hard and fast rules i,ve been on a calm moonlit night and had a better night than a dark windy one.
