Guest ragumup
Had a call this morning from a shooting agent telling me someone had seem a fox go ground at 8.30 on his shoot any way didn't have my truck as it in for mot so i hurried over in the wife's car Tried the hole we thought he meant with the new dog after a minute to ground he said no so then tried the proven bitch she said no even though there was a dead mouse at the entrance. Then tried a hole further along the bank and red bitch gave us a positive mark so thought yes ideal to try the new nuttel dog it was only a two hole but under ground it was a labyrinth of tunnels Had to dig to the dog as the fox wouldn't bolt for the chap, took almost two hours even though it was sandy because there was a lot of running around and in the end shot it with a 22 rim fire this is the dog we used Edited March 5, 2008 by ragumup Quote Link to post
