salmon eggs

i am just seeing if it is allowed to use salmon eggs when fishing for trout. plus have any of you people used them i was speaking to a mate at football the other day and he said they are brilliant to use much better than power bait and i think that stuff is amazing so if somone could help it would be great. thanks

your best bet would be to email the enviroment agency. i cant see it been legal my self mate because how would you get the eggs unless you have a salmon licence to get the salmon to get the eggs.

definatley ILLEGAL , dont find much nowaday's , the oldies used to make it years ago , f*****g deadly , my dad , used to make it when we were kids , sold it in pound jars , for more than the price of a salmon , but everyone has his own recipe

definately a no no think it used to get called mickey heard it was deadly especialy for salmon but they would of been better in the river bed for future generations

no a few guys who still make it and well it is better than power bait used it on hooks in bait bags for fish we called it salmon putty , you can get it if you inquire to local fish mongers they get fish farm salmon sometimes with roe in it were i get mines from wild fish caught in the sea had guys from wales ask me for some , it leaves a trail of oil on water every body has there own mixture , ideal for wild locks were they have never seen it caught lots of trout with it and minnows otter brds etc al th best
