B moocher 0
A GREAT START TO A NEW SEASON. STRAYED AWAY FROM THE TROUT FLY FISHING WHEN I WAS 16 DUE TO MY KIT BEING STOLEN FROM MY SHED, SO I EMBARKED ON A NEW GOAL TO FISH FOR CARP AND PIKE. BUT LAST WEEK MY FATHER AND I WENT FLY FISHING TO BIG WELLS FISHRIES WERE I HAD NO LUCK ALL DAY UNTIL UNTIL JUST BEFORE WE PACKED UP I MISSED A TAKE SO I WENT HOME THINKING WHAT TO DO NEXT. SO ON MY DAY OFF YESTERDAY MY FRIEND AND I WENT TO SEVEN OAKS FISHERY NEAR PONTULYN IN SOUTH WALES, THE WEATHER LOOKED LIKE IT WAS GOING TO BE FINE BUT AS USUAL IT ALL CHANGED RAIN HAIL STONES AND SOME REALLY BAD WEATHER. WE STARTED AT 8 O CLOCK AND BY MID DAY WE SAW 4 OR 5 PEOPLE COME AND GO AS THE WEATHER WAS'NT TO THEIR LIKEING BUT WE CARRIED ON DESPITE AS WE HAD PAID FOR A FULL DAY. BY 1 O CLOCK I HAD MY FIRST TAKE A NICE STRONG 4 LB RAINBOW, THINGS WERE LOOKING UP ALTHOUGH WE WERE SOAKED THROUGH AND VERY COLD. THINGS WENT QUITE AGAIN SO A CHANGE OF TACTIC'S WERE A GOOD IDEA SO I CHANGED MY FLY TO A YELLOW LEAD HEAD FRITZ FIRST CAST TOOK ON THE DROP, MY LUCK HAD CHANGED WITHIN THE NEXT 2 HOURS I HAD CAUGHT ALL 5 OF MY FISH WERE CAUGHT AND I WAS EXTREMELY HAPPY. SO WE CALLED IT A DAY AND WENT HOME. AND CAN'T WAIT TILL MY NEXT DAY OFF SO I CAN HOPE FOR ANOTHER GREAT DAY'S FISHING. I WENT HOME WITH A BACK WEIGHING JUST OVER 18 LB .
