The Sporting Agent 0
Was wondering what people made of the new "season" soon to be on BBC2 called "White" about the apparent opression of white working class Brittons? Are the BBC going to be showing a true and frank account of the situation? Will it prove to actually be anti-white, by showing white Brittons in a bad/negative light? Are they naybe concentrating on "working class" because that might prove to be more negative, or purely because its the working classes that maybe are suffering more? Not sure when it starts but it might make interesting viewing, regardless of racial feelings.
Guest Ditch_Shitter
"White" about the apparent opression of white working class Brittons? Sounds an interesting topic; If one that could be made to swing a whole variety of ways. Certainly sounds to have the potential to spark debate. Sadly, owing to the underlying nature of this place? I can see this Thread lasting about 'five minutes'

tomdogz 0
When i first saw the advert, i thought it was a National Front advertisment. Should be good and wind up the PC Brigade Tom
The Sporting Agent 0
I'm looking forward to catching it, I think, as has been said it will probably spark a real debate on both sides. There is no doubt that the British working classes are those that are suffering most financially with the current situation; but will the series give an impartial review of the situation, alowing the real problems, issues and worries of people accross the board (not just working classes, we are all sufering), or will it give the view that working class Brits are all racist BNP supporters? I concerns me somewhat that in todays world of Political Correctness the BBC are specifically targeting one social class; and in this case those at the bottom of the ladder in many cases; while it may show the extreme end I suspect it will make the programe/series more contraversial and easier to give it a negative spin. After all; why would they want to show anything that has a ring of truth or support for real Britain???? I suspect its a loaded topic.
Andrea 2
I hear what your saying TSA, and i know that we all suffer regardless of our "class" (if indead you believe in a viable class structure) but i have to say i think for far to long the working class has had no voice and nobody in power has bothered to consider the issues, poverty and problems faced by the working class. For once, it now seems that the working class will have a voice and hopefully the politicians and others further up the hierarchy, will hear and see the damage, the working class are facing and has faced for years. Programmes are made about this, that and the other, now it’s time a programme was made to show those who know nothing of the working class struggle, what it’s like. Will it be biased? I doubt it, it may be subjective to the individuals being interviewed but then, that’s their experiences and those stories should be told. How can we see the real meaning of being working class if we cover it up in political correctness rubbish? Interesting thread.

Seriously though, I did not start this to be a racist thread, bashing or insulting anyone, its specific to a series of television programmes on the way. Purely because it is in relation to "race" does not make it "racist", and anyone who either thinks otherwise and takes action acordingly or jumps on the thread spouting racial rubbish really has nothing to offer. We all know they are out there, but I don't think there is any need to steer away from interesting political topics just because some muppest might get hard line.... Just my twopenneth worth, incase the muppets do come out to play!
