Guest Ditch_Shitter
After I left home? First one was a little Gypsy bred Bull X. Brilliant little Dog. Wasted on me, with my inexperience and his own youth. Went to a mate of mine, Chris H. Became a 110% little Dog with Chris. Begat a 120% son. Chris's only and major f*ck up was to lose the blood. Last I knew, he'd had to buy in some saluki bred thing and I haven't seen him since.

skycat 6,173
First dog when I left home was a GSD: fantastic dog and a great hunter. Shame he had dodgy hips: all too prevalent in those days. Then I got an Irish Wolfhound: and she'd catch rabbits and swallow them whole, come home and regurgitate in the back garden and eat them at her leisure! She's what got me into lurchers. Bosun11 537
Left home with my EBT and my Lakie terrier. My old lurcher stayed as she was the family dog. The EBT went back during the first week, my mum missed him too much (which was strange as she had always hated the breed an screemed when I brought the 'pig dog' pup home)! Came unstuck after a few weeks at my new abode. The old boy next door had a large black an white cat that he used to feed on top of his outside privvey. Always stroking it an tellin it what a lovely boy he was. Well, I was outside puttin up an old shed that I'd 'cadged' to use as a kennel (new lurcher on its way!!), when there was a knock on the door, a mate who had come round to see the kennels. Made a brew an was talkin all things dogs when I noticed the terrier 'missin' out of the garden. I rushed out to hear the sound of summat 'not havin a the best time of things' and noticed that i'd left the step ladder leaning on the fence. We looked over the fence to find the terrier readin old Ernie's cat its last rights!! The mog was dead an I was in dead trouble !! Took me all day to muster the courage to go round an tell old Ernie that his beloved had croked at the jaws of my dog. I bit the bullet an knocked......"Sorry to bother you Ernie but i'm afraid my dog got over the fence and has killed your cat"? "Eh", he replied. I repeated.........."Sorry to bother you Ernie but i'm afraid my dog got over the fence and has killed your cat"? "Cat? What bloody cat??" he said. "YOUR CAT", I repeated, "the black an white one you feed on your toilet every day" (must be goin senile, I thought?). " Oh, that cat" he said, "well not to worry as I've been tryin to get rid of it for years but the b*****d keeps coming back, I was sick an tired of feeding it" and shut the door!!! So, I was off the hook , the step ladder stayed away from the fence and my new lurcher arrived a week later....... Strange things neighbours!
