11 mth Bitchs first heat

My 11 mth old lurcher bitch has just finished her first season. Her rear has gone back to normal but some of her nipples are enlarged, is this normal? Thanks

yeah this is normal mate a bit milk will come on her aswell we used to put a t spoon of epsum salts in the greyhounds dinner when the milk started to show this took the milk of them quite quick so we could get them racing againe as my grandad is against the injection because it could cause infertality.

Also another way to nip this in the bud is to fast the bitch for 48 hours, not too hard if you already fast your bitch 1 day a week.

 

Never used the other method, have used the fasting method several times, not with phantoms but with drying up milk after pups, works a treat.

 

Heard many people say this salts way works real well though.

pup is doing fine tyla ill take a few pik's of her today while im out with them she's into everything but coming along fine dont think there will be a problem with her when the time come's to start she's already bushing but dont think she knows what she's upto yet .
