brigg 54 Posted March 3, 2008 Report Share Posted March 3, 2008 what line is she bred from etc and how long do they go back etc what percentage collieshes bread out of mackay of thise site old stuff. her grandfather was was a dog called dodger. which was a bitza a well knowan dog about thise area. his side can be traced back 30 years. her gran was a first cross hancockbitch named bess. probily the best dog thats ever came out his place. and my dog from the above was bread back to his doughter which was him to a first cross collie grew. She seems a natural retriever as well and quite fearless, my spaniel carried back a myxy rabbit last weekend and I let her play with it she shook it and then carried it around for 20 minutes. Her only bad point - she is always hanging of my spaniels ears! Quote Link to post
whin 463 Posted March 5, 2008 Report Share Posted March 5, 2008 so a hanckock lurcher had one twenty years ago hanckock beardie cross got two th e nlrc rabbiting feild trail;s with her caught all game on offer but a pain in the ass and very exited i had to train her kinda hard as she was a bit mad , until three but plenty drive about her , never realy rated hancckock dogs saw so many that well were not ideal poaching dogs etc Quote Link to post
whin 463 Posted March 5, 2008 Report Share Posted March 5, 2008 shees a nice pup and strong she should do a job ,, ive going to bred a few litters and thin the old lurchers out, been getting good homes for them , hopefully a good summer and with the new big pens im building the pups shall get all the freedom they need to grow srtrong and fast , looking forward to pups ,its handy if you no all the blood lines and throw a good qaulity greyhound in once in a while , all th best Quote Link to post
