Geoff.C 0 Posted March 3, 2008 Report Share Posted March 3, 2008 Great pictures mad al. Buzzards always seem to be too high for good pics unless you have a monster lens. (Which I don't). Had a superb "buzzard moment" last week, we were spending a long weekend around the forest of dean. Had been looking at distant goshawks from a rspb viewpoint at "New Fancy", then moved on. Just about to pass under an old single arch railway bridge, 12' 6" clearance, and a buzzard passed over the car and flew above us but under the bridge. I think he was no more than four feet above the car, a real "get the camera" panic but too late. He turned right and landed in a tree by the road. He posed for a shot, but I would have loved the under the bridge shot. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
