There alright to keep onboard for an emergancy if you cant get to any trees. Have used lots of different types and they are all a 2 man job (one working winch and one standing on ancor to get it to dig in) Havent had much success with them, normaly end up polwing furrows coz they wont dig in properly!

I have had a ‘Pullpall’ for 10 years the body folds back on itself a little heavy, spade slots onto the end by four slotted clips.

Had to dig it out once in peat, boggy land dug 4’ down to retrieve it.

Its one of those things to roll round in the Landy forever, but for the one occasion you use it its worth its weight in gold.

Could provide pics and dimensions if asked.

Being a boating person myself. i used to use a CQR anchor and that got me out of a few tight spots. Downside is, it is 15 KG and does not stow well in a small 4 x 4 but it had a permanent place in my old 109
