mole catcher 1
Drober..... I have allways been the first to say that simon has done more than most folk to push the bar for ferret wellfair. But my gripe wasnt about whats best, old or new, never was as i have used both for many yrs. and yes he does say on more than one occasion that '' it is my opinion'' but the points i was raising were the point were he states that with the old method YOU CANT DO THIS or YOU WONT BE ABLE TO DO THAT. that was the reaon for my questions. and yes your right some have voiced their opinions about the man himself, its their choice. and trust me when i say if i wanted to dish the dirt i could have done just that but i kept it to the point of my gripe. simple fact is this, he made statements that he was either unwilling to try and back up or he couldnt. the true reason we will never know because he jumped from the forum after i asked him 7 civil simple questions that if he has the knowledge that he claims in his articles than he would have not made these statements in the first place. and before im ripped a new arse hole for what i have said, yes i can back up my points of question. Like i have said, simon has spent the last few years trying to promote a true picture of ferreting and cannot tollerate any falseness or old wives tales. me im the same about long netting. marcus 1
LONG experience in meeting hundreds of mouchers and rabbiters has taught me that 'fall outs are bound to occur amongst the guys,.and there is precious little one can do to prevent it.. In hindsight,.I have been involved in countless bust-ups and girly arguments ,..that could of so easily been avoided...and I generaly regret shouting my big mouth off....it never realy solves the problem....And of late, I am beginning to think that we should accept people for what they are. None of us are angels,...least of all myself... Its a shame more folk dont feel this way thats some strong words from a man that oviously knows what hes talking about happy hunting fella Quote Link to post
