.Joe 0
Just been and zero'd the Falcon at 40yrds ready for lamping on monday night... Not bad groupings for this gun i dont think? Thats a pound coin next to it for size comparison... Last time lamping was with 2 air rifles from a vehicle and we shot 38... so hopefully the same again this time... Anyone else got pictures of air gun groupings they are proud of? Edited March 1, 2008 by .Joe Quote Link to post
ChrisJones 7,975
That's pretty consistent! Good luck with it. I haven't got any grouping pics... not done any testing for a while. Quote Link to post
tote 856
That's good grouping Joe. Out of interest how high are you hitting at 20 yards? Quote Link to post
Coney 3
Good luck and let us know how you get on. Quote Link to post

.Joe 0
I wouldn't know what im hitting at 20yrds. That grouping needed about 1/2" elevation. I do like the Falcon, but want to be changing it. I dont have the time and patience to be fitting it with a "de-twanger" to quieten it down or to keep sighting it in as i find its a bit prone to losing its zero, fast. Perhaps something to do with the way the barrel can move so freely above the air tank? But, having slated it, i have used it for the last 2 years, and according to my "Game Book" have shot nearly 600 rabbits and just under 100 pigeons with it to date. So other than the zero and the horrible "twang" it gives off, i love it. But best rifle i have used to date, has to be a friends AA S410 Carbine. So bloody quiet. I will be looking for a slightly more expencive, more accurate, uprgradable to reliable FAC power and more modifiable air rifle in the near future. Quote Link to post

Don't quite understand some of this...yep..it does make and interesting twang but...they are very accurate and I am a little surprised you think it more likely the gun is losing it's zero and not your scope!! The barrel is incredibly flexible but despite this my gun has never lost it's zero! Mine has been running FAC for years (26ft lb), it sounds a lot better, virtually no twang and without a moderator it has a roar! Mine is zeroed at 40 yards and I can always put a full magazine into a 1p. On top of which I thought you were shouting about how accurate yours was...what are you expecting? Quote Link to post
