jamie g 17 Posted March 1, 2008 Report Share Posted March 1, 2008 what twist rate are 22/250 rifles 1-12 to 1-14 is it ? so they like lighter bullets ? say 40 to 52 grains and because of this twist they dont handle the heavy bullets very well as the cant keep them as stayble at distance is this right ? Dependant on which manufacturer, you can get up to a 60 grainer to stabilise, but the golden rule when approaching heavy for twist bullets...is drive the buggers as fast as you can, pressure wise....it helps to stabilise them.
