Does anyone know when or if B and F are bringing a new collar out for the 2008 season?I read it somewhere and am buying one but no point in buying the old model if they are bringing out a new hopefully improved collar.

there hoping to have it on the market by next november they say it will be slightly dearer than the originall

Flip was hoping for it a bit before then we ll be starting sep and the deban won t be used again on my dogs,any advice here would yous go and by one now or hold of?

id buy one anyway then save up for the new collar its allways handy to have a spare collar. with a bit of luck they may be out a bit earlier it was last september when i spoke to them they may be coming along better than the expected

AYE PIP THATS RIGHT, WHEN I GOT MINE LAST YEAR THEY SAID IT WOULDNT BE TILL NEXT SEASON, HOPEFULLY A BIT SMALLER, BUT COMPATIBLE WITH THE PIEPS BOX, ID USED THE MK 3 AND WAS 4 HALF FOOT OUT, AND NEARLY LOST MY OLDEST TERRIER, HE GOT OUT LUCKY BUT TOOK 3 WEEKS TO PULL ROUND, YOURE RIGHT TO GET THE B AND FLINT

alright pip mate... from what i hear they are bringing a new smaller one out that is rechargeable...ive never had any problems with the big one though so dont see the reason behind making it smaller??

The most expensive part of the BF kit is the box anyway, so when they release the new one you wont be forking out 300 bar again.... their existing collar is 70 quid on its own, so even if their replacment is slightly dearer its still a cheap sport (have you bought cartridges lately!!)... and like harddigging says its handy to have a spare especially if the new one is rechargeable.. you can garantee there's going to be a time when you charge it all night then relise in the morning you put the wrong plug in! My first season with the BF and they really are as good as people say....

i have bought and used 2 ortovox collars, and a pieps DSP box and a barryvox pulse box is that OK with YOU sanchez?

and i've used the B+F collars and box set.

all very good kit
