Ferret Collars

Are the mk1 ferret collars the same size as the Mk1 terrier collars? The receiver bit ( ) dont know the proper name seems very big for a ferret I'm used to the mk3 collars which are much smaller.

Jules here is a photo of a mk3 and 2 mk1 ferret collars .

i need a ferret locator and just wonded if eneyone could advise me the best to get as i have heard they were problems with some thanks

either from a shop or e bay mate;

 

the problems you'vre heard are simply some people prefer the old mk1, where as others go for the new mk3,

its up to you, the mk1 seem to hold there value, but of course, they are not new, a mk3 new can be picked up for around £135 from e bay, if you have never used a locator before, Id say go with a mk3, but others will tell you different

not the mk2, but as stubbs says, different folk prefer different set ups.

got a mk1 but lots collars so i was wondering if there was eney better not that i have any problem with it but the collars r making a fortune so i thought i be best off putting an extra few quid and get a new one but if there no better ill get some new collars what is your oppion thanks pad
