lgray88 4
its maybe jsut beacuse shes pissed off your but her back to her hutch , after youv'e spent all the time with her, maybe you could try and place something in the hutch that would intrest her, so she doesnt go for your fingers Quote Link to post
ferretville 69
When you put her back in keep your hand in and give her a stroke, then slowly take your hand out. Quick movements can sometimes make a ferret react by biting as it might feel threatened. Good luck mate hope this helps atb FV Quote Link to post
jazz_11 5
mine jill did it mate but she likes it if u stroke her head like a puppy, do that then stroke her head before SLOWLY moving your hand... hope it helps, i just picked up a new hob tonight and put them in together and they were dragging each other around, was like a boxing match haha.... they are getting used to each othernow tho... tonetone 0
place her back in the hutch and slightly release your hold so she has to wriggle out from your hand. try keeping your hand still while doing this. she might be reacting to your hands movement. and has just got into the habbit of having a wee nip. if you keep your hand still until she has moved away then it will just be too boring for her to nip. para1 11
Have you ever used her on rats?? Quote Link to post
jazz_11 5
yes mate dont put her in backwards and the remove your hand quickly because it then becomes a game how quick she can turn around and nip u... Quote Link to post
victor 10
before you put her back put a little bit of lemon juice on your fingers and if she try's to bite you she will get a nasty taste. Quote Link to post
