this is my young dog he is 7 months old in the photo , the photo was taken a month ago , i got him started on the lamp last night we had a couple of good runs but no bunnies in the bag , i'm just pleased that he is trying to catch and with every rabbit in the area being lamp shy it don't help .... i'll keep you all posted on his progress happy hunting photonew014.jpg

Just started my 8 month old pup on the lamp, I took him to some roughish ground that slowed down the bunnies,and he caught his first one,I find it best to give short wheat and close grazed pasture a miss when entering a youngster,as the bunnies are like shit of the shovel,I think you need early success with a pup,to give them the confidence,not trying to teach you to suck eggs ,just my experience of it,all the best with your youngster .Inan.
