But from what I understood, borsuk work was already banned in Czech, Slovakia and Germany, which is why the Polish tests were so popular with you guys as you couldn't do it in your own country?

i m not sure about france and italy but i m sure with poland and hungary and czech because i spoke to guys from those countries.

ps what i know fells are patterdales no lakelands, and all english terriers have their ancestor same: old black and tan terrier, i read an article from one of jagterriers founders.

by american kennel patts are fells, lakeland is different also by FCI, i have lot of books where patts/fell is one breed and lakelands are different.

it quite possible for a terrier to kill a badger, it would have tobe strong with heavy jaw power and get a good grip at the throat or back of the neck. many years ago before being protected there were breeds of terrier capable of doing so. though i would think a wheaton more likely than a dachshund. also younger animals would differ greatly from mature ones also time of year size of run in which they engaged woudl play a part. i dont think iy is impossible but it woudl be impossible for me to say having not or likely to in the future see it played out.
