dogs-n-natives 1,182 Posted February 28, 2008 Report Share Posted February 28, 2008 You can buy gamebird eggs from gamefarms that keep their own laying stock. Usually pheasant(many strains/types) or partridge(red-legged or grey) They are the principle birds reared for game shooting. Grouse can be reared for ornamental purposes but are not reared for shooting, all of the grouse shot in this country are wild birds. You can find listings of several game farms in the shooting times.
