kreet 0
at the moment im running a coursing whippet bitch i also have a little whippet jrt bitch who has thrown alot to the whippet who is a keen little busher but she wont be starting till next season i dont need anything bigger as my mate has a salukixgreyhound and a big lurcher dog that has a bit of everything in him so i dont realy need anything bigger than my bitch just now especialy as all i hunt is rabbit at the moment but she would be more than capable on the long ear's preban i wouldnt waste the bitch running her on anything bigger ill get a few pik's up of her later before i take them out tonight . all i meant buy my post is if i had something like a salukixgreyhound i wouldnt wont one that was only any use to me in the daytime my whippet bitch will take a rabbit that lifts from cover on a walk and she will happily bush with my other dogs but she will also follow a beem i wouldnt expect any less from anydog i owned. Paul in North Lincs 15
what do you think of coursi g hares in the lamp pre ban ive got my opinion Something aint quite right here Quote Link to post
AlfieR 13
my dog catches the odd hare both lamp and day time it is just as hard in the day as it is in the night in my opinion its aall sport either way happy hunting Quote Link to post
Guest merlin
often wondered why people found hares so easy after dark,do they turn into slugs when night falls?running over rough ground down the beam is hard whatever the quarry.i always thought hares just made more mistakes on the lamp, rather than running slower or not turning as well.no wonder hunting got banned if people who keep the same dogs have a go because they choose to use them differently Quote Link to post
