Border terrier. He is a prat because he has come on a HUNTING site not a DAYTIME COURSING site and after 12 posts slated (in a round about way) a form of HUNTING! Who needs antis with prats like him?

what do you think of coursi :censored::censored: g hares in the lamp pre ban ive got my opinion

You made it obvious by your use of "smillies" what your opinion is, and you don't want a discussion; you want an argument . It depends entirely on your reason for working dogs. If , like me, you hunt for the table, dog food, or beer vouchers, you will hunt day or night, and take what you can. If you are only in it to see a dog work a hare, and aren't bothered about the kill, stick to daytime hares, but don't knock other people.

Cheers.

very tru but i do like dsylight coursing and never brag about killing lamped hares evn tho localy its not easy and in some areas day time would be the best as the hares use every dip to get out the beam ,i do both ,but more importantly as long as you dont waste the game ive heard a few keepers my way finding dumped game ,,ive never killed an animal for waste , now thtas worse than lamping whatever and if i didnt like game well im afraid i wouldnt kill it as some do , but thtas how i was brought up eat sell or feed to dogs or give to people who app fresh game

lamping hares AINT COURSING its lamping. each to their own but hunting hares using false light is more easy than taking them in daylight giving the hare fair law IMO.

Do you give every hare you run fair law?

i wouldnt want a dog that only took hare in the day time or only at nite i would want one that would take them day and nite and could adjust to the situation it was in thats what i would call a real dog and if i couldnt take the dog out and pull a dozen rabbits and a fox if need be i wouldnt see the point in having it why have an animal that only performs in daylight ? i think the hare deserve's a bit time to build back decent numbers there are a rake around me at the moment spotted a big buck and a dow in an area that hasnt had any for over 5 years due to twats just taking them for the sake of it and not even putting them to good use iv also noticed that an area iv known to always hold half a dozen at least has none at all yet whitch is disapointing. pre ban i would take any quary at anytime anyway possible because i hunt to eat the meat and to give the dogs a well earnt treat. as has already been stated why come on here and start a debate about the way other people would have hunted in the past if you hunted day time hare and didnt like the way others hunted then that is something you should have learnt to put up with as others might not have liked your way of doing things and as said the last thing anypart of this sport needs nowadays is putting down bye anyone.

has to be daytime coursing, its far superior sport, but those hares can run at night aswell, ive seen a few runs at night go on for nearly 2 mins, but when we lamp them its on big ground not small paddocks.

max,how many people can you honestly say youve seen give law daytime?????do you????
