Hi its for both which is why i was looking at the 6-24xmag one i fancy one of those on my .222 when i get it. they come recommended from a few people i know who also use them for foxes. they are £179 on litt's website. this is where ill probably get my rimfire so ill buy a scope there the same time and i usually get a good price if you buy a few things at a time. thanks ss06 Quote Link to post

SportingShooter 0
the illuminated reticle helps when in low light aparently, i hope to be taking around 250yrd shots max so it should suit my needs, and as im not shooting targets and am more likely to shoot at night i think i will go illuminated. thanks ss06 p.s if you get one before i do let us know what you think. I will do chap as im target shooting with mine as well ill let you know how it is at 600m as for foxes ill probably zero at 100m as its less than an inch between 50 to 150 and we can usualy get within this range to our quarry arcpest Quote Link to post
Mr_Logic 5
They're good scopes, can't go far wrong. I heard the Falcon Menace is meant to have better optics, but they only do it to 18 power in a 56 front end, so not sure if that helps, it's about £40 more. About illuminated though... I recently bought a Meopta 7x50, I spent a hundred quid more for IR, and I haven't used it once under the lamp. So for night shooting I wouldn't worry too much - Nikko only give IR scopes a one-year warranty which is a bit rubbish I think. Quote Link to post

Mr_Logic 5
Seconded, actually, the AGS was very clear, I had a look at the 8-32 when I bought my Meopta. Bought an MTC for my 22-250, everyone said it's better. Maybe it is, but not by a lot. Features are better though - mounts, sidewheel and IR included. Reticle might be a bit fine for lamping, but I guess I will see. Quote Link to post
