crazybones 0
I mentioned the Pie dog and his only half cross litter to his sister Otter, in the 'Best Bull Cross' thred, my old dog was out of Dee and the bitch in my avator is out of Spike to a bitch out of Otter, all from that 1/2 cross litter. The young dog I have on now is out of my old bitch to a dog out of Dee. Pie was a genuine first cross out of a bull called Max. I know both owners of Pie and the owners of Dee and Spike and seen these dogs at work, I'll say no more than it's the line I've kept ever since. The pick of my young dog was taken last summer...... not quite lookin the same now! I'll put up more after I scan 'em. another dog out of otter was warlock , mackies bull greyhound a monster of a dog Quote Link to post

pedro 39
As far as i know pie was owned by a boy from wigan, a boy who lives not far from me in Fife had pie in his kennels for a while to line his bitch, this would be about the early 90's, my mate had a pup out of the litter, a few pups out the litter had problems with their legs, my mates dog couldnt run worth a feck, but pie was a cracking looking dog, best looking bully ive seen, the pie in the pic is the one i saw as i'll always remember the half a tail. Your right Pedro, the 'one' Pie dog in the pic was from Wigan, his half tail was the accidental result of a car door. He was owned by two lads in his life, the first working him hard and building a bit of a reputation with him, the next (though still working him) really got him looking the part and put him to stud. Pie lined numerous bitches and it would be fair to say that a lot of poor stuff probably did come out (but then again, one mans meat.....) Pie was 'lost' in Arnside in the early 90's. Some of the line do start as pups with a leg defect, in which at around 6 to 8 weeks, if on their feet too much, get a really bad leg bend (the wrong way!!?) but if careful and monitored it (I crated mine up) would right its self in an hour or two. Left un-checked this could be the animals downfall. Quote Link to post
