dogs-n-natives 1,182
Im planning on taking my cousin on a short break to try some sea fishing. We are both keen salmon and trout fishermen and are relatively experienced in most aspects of fishing. Im looking for exciting fishing! Perhaps from a boat? Any ideas will be gratefully recieved Quote Link to post

ginger dave 63
Get yourself up to BURRWHEAD CARAVAN SITE in south west Scotland, they cater for fishermen and do short breaks quite reasonable prices. There is plenty of fishing on the camp itself. You can spin for pollack etc, We go on our club trip often and always have a great time, put BURROWHEAD in your search engine for booking details. PS there also is a decent clubhouse on site for a pint and a chat with the the other lads up there fishing, regards GINGER DAVE Quote Link to post
bill88 6
Im with speedlamper on this one.I do a lot of sea fishing on and around Anglesey.Plenty of good marks to fish, either rock, pier or beach, and you can always get out of the weather one side of the island or another. As for the boat fishing, well theres plenty on offer.Lots of charters fishing around the island,in the straits,or in Carnaerfon bay.HTH's Quote Link to post

dogs-n-natives 1,182
You could try Whitby, its a nice harbour town with plenty of fishing boats to charter.....there is also the added bonus of decent pier fishing. Ive been to Whitby a few times, but never fished there before. Thanks Quote Link to post
