Meerihunter 7
We were out last night again for an hour, Saluki 4 O/H's BeardieXgrey 0 We tried so hard to get the beardieX an easy catch not easy in its self this time of year but she just could'nt not connect. Her confidence took a real battering, not a good thing for any dog let alone these collie types. Interesting to see the two styles of running though the Saluki being so fluent from start to finish, ultimate control of pace and positioning shadowing ever move the rabbit makes. The beardie putting too much speed in and not enough control when the rabbit turns. Quote Link to post

Paul in North Lincs 15
Good work...........at least you had some sport... I was out last night...its was a great windy night with bunnies sittign well out. I mirror what you say about enjoying different working styles...my two bitches are completely different but effective in their own way............ Maybe get the beardie a droppers or 2 to boost it confidence..................... they soon get dispondant and lack interest if they not able to catch........ also with the fustration comes the dreaded 'opening up!!' I like the saluki...........looks the bizz.... Quote Link to post
Meerihunter 7
Only a few weeks back the Beardiex was snapping them up for fun. She's an awfully sensitive bitch and doesn't get out lamping much though as she is my O/H's dog and I just work away with my Saluki's. Meerihunter 7
Best of luck tonight, I love to a recent pic of Storm. I might give my Saluki pup (I say pup he's 18mth now) a run later tonight, he's been getting over a deep cut in the pad due to arshole campers leaving glass bottles all over the dunes.
