whin 463
saw afew beddies and were quite willd more terreir like and could thye sing when the hare or roe pulled away , but were good hunters but if put under pressure to much well they sung like hounds on a fresh trail , some are obvisily quite , as i saw two that were and top class little dogs but the others i saw were needing a bit rough treatment to heel them up ,all in all , ive saw three that were good and two that were like ole yeller out the ole movie they were not yipping with frustraition but singing through lack of pace and brain plus they werere rough on the roe deers ass but good fox and rabbit dogs Quote Link to post
mush 204
as dickyboy says see a few different crosses run, if you get something about 24-25 then if you lose interest in hunting say rabbits and want to hunt something else it will have the size and hopeful the go to run other stuff. Stay clear of terrier and collie first crosses as they can be hard work for first time owners 3/4 greyhound 1/4 collie crosses can be good first time dogs as the can take most things.
