12month old dog

in your opinion lads what should a lurcher be doing at 12 months old (work wise). I know that a few lads dont intruduce there dog to work until this age so what would you all be expecting from them . cheers ferretuk

im new to lurchers mate but my pup is 9 months old and is c atching plenty of rabbits day and night i didnt expect her to be catching the amount she is at 12 months nevermind now,she retrives live to hand and jumps well,but the sister to my pup is doing nothing at all no catching,jumping just wants to play all the time so i suppose they are all diffrent

in a perfect world should b doing rabbits!but is not uncomen for a dog of this age to b still without a kill still big pup at the height of divel ment

I always set targets of 100 rabbits before my (lurcher) pups were a year old..some did it, some didnt, but I was never disgruntled with the ones that didnt, as some of these late developers became really good dogs when grown

cheers lads nor it isnt badger mate i put it up for a mate who has just been gettin a dog.Badger is on fire mate got a deer the other night had everything now mate
