daz1976 8 Posted February 25, 2008 Report Share Posted February 25, 2008 im new to lurchers mate but my pup is 9 months old and is c atching plenty of rabbits day and night i didnt expect her to be catching the amount she is at 12 months nevermind now,she retrives live to hand and jumps well,but the sister to my pup is doing nothing at all no catching,jumping just wants to play all the time so i suppose they are all diffrent Quote Link to post

doxhope 2 Posted February 28, 2008 Report Share Posted February 28, 2008 I always set targets of 100 rabbits before my (lurcher) pups were a year old..some did it, some didnt, but I was never disgruntled with the ones that didnt, as some of these late developers became really good dogs when grown Quote Link to post
