bill88 6
I lost a hob after i had moved it from one court to another because it had Distemper. It managed to bite through the mesh and escape,i found out where it was 5 weeks later. It had turned up in a fella's garden about 400yds away, and he'd built it a hutch and kept it for his grandkids.I didn't have the heart to take it back as the kids were crying when i turned up to collect it. Halfinch 51
My brothers ferret escaped and went missing for nearly 3 weeks then one day turned up sitting on top of her cage, ok, this maybe an exception to the rule but it DOES happen. All you can do is keep looking, and hope for the best. Good luck. Quote Link to post

mooster 1
Make sure you tell your local police who will be the first port of call for someone finding your ferret. Good luck. Mooster. Quote Link to post
stubby 175
after this long, door knocking etc might not be enough, you'd be better off phoning all the animal rescue centres in your area, plus informing local police etc, alot of people are going to contact these services if the see/find a ferret in the garden etc Quote Link to post
