It's not like there are breed standards like K.C. shows are there? Before you all say it I know lurchers are not a breed but a type. Do they show the dogs working? there purely a beauty contest, judged on "suitabillity to work" they of course can LOOK like a fine specimen, but it proves nothing to there working abillitys, its just a socialable day out with like minded folks. ps if thats really you in the pic id gladly take you along and explain the ins and outs of it Ha ha ha nearly choked on my dinner! I have never heard of a Lurcher Show so what happens at them? get yaself to the staffordshire county show ground in may. if you want to see lurchers there will be plenty there. and a lot more.
