certainly an odd looking coin. if i were you id look on google for coin dealers and see if you can match it. then again it may turn out to be worthless, and it dont look like a 2p or cent. always good to know. i have just tracked down a 1775 george III halfpenny, took a bit of time though.

thanks

RIGHT THE COIN YOU HAVE IS ROMAN - THE BUST IS OF CORNELIA SUPERA, THE WIFE OF EMPEROR AEMILIAN WHO ONLY REIGNED FOR 3 MONTHS IN 253 AD, SO IT'S QUITE A RARE ISSUE. IT SHOWS VESTA ON THE REVERSE. IN VERY FINE CONDITION, THESE CAN FETCH UP TO £3,350.00 BUT YOUR COIN IT A LITTLE WORN SO MIGHT BE WORTH LESS. ALSO, MY REFERENCE BOOK DOESN'T MAKE IT CLEAR WHETHER THIS PRICE REFERS TO A BRONZE OR SILVER COIN SO YOU MIGHT WANT TO GET IT PROFESSIONALLY VALUED. WHAT EVER ITS WORTH A NICE FEW QUID :drink::drink::drink::drink::drink::drink::drink::drink::drink::drink::drink::drink::drink::drink::drink::drink:

are you sure thats not a minks head on the reverse side!!!!!!!!
