Kay 3,709
I find the elderly (most) to be bloody ignorant, got one like her over the fence but she only starts in the summer lol she just gets told to shut up as she's a right twisty mare with a big gob, you'd think her having 2 smack heads for sons would keep her quiet...but no. i worked for a few years in an resedintial care home for the elderley, what a bunch of b*****ds the majority were, i dont care who's parents or granparents they are, they all hated my guts for no other reason than my age, just because i was under 25 and managing the kitchen, the way they all went on you'd think i was the devil, i dont know how carers manage to put up with them, i could just walk away and close the kitchen door end of problem, respect your elders..... not a feckin chance What sort of care were they though, i worked with emi for 2 yrs & learnt to dodge walking frames & the other things they liked to throw at me

Missie 1
Well, after reading all the replies it seems it may be me thats wrong on this ocassion Im going to try some behaviour techniques with the dogs and if that doesnt work then I'll have to splash out on some anti bark collars. I just wish my neighbour had been a bit more civil and spoken to me first instead of shouting the odds at the fence Thanks for all the replies guys. Try a radio. My lurcher suffered SA when he first arrived and sometimes gets a little whiney when I go out but the radio on seems to sooth him. It might be worth a try even though its not SA your dogs have. Irish Lurcher 1,013
There is a simple and speedy way to bring this issue to an end. Here goes. First you arrange for one of the local yobs to pay a visit to your neighbor’s back yard, making sure to cause as much noise as possible causing the dogs to go mad. Then you spring into action, superman to the rescue, chase the fooker from the back garden, while your partner alerts your neighbor to the danger of the intruder. You will be the hero , your neighbor will be forever grateful to you and your dogs.

pritch 335
I wouldn't be taking legal advice from a vet Perhaps there is nothing they can do but i don't want the hassle form the neighbours. P.S. I'd like to be a fly on the wall when you go to the neighbours and explain that " my dog has just killed your cat but I want you to pay my vet bills" Like I said, lifes hard enough without uneccersary problems legal advice off a vet, you can bet its sound were money is involed

Guest WILF
If you think the barking is within reason, then tell her to do one, if you think the barking is extreme.........sort it out. A hose pipe normally does the trick
