Ossie 11
i've started singing at a buskers night in a local pub (one of my new years resolutions - do some gigs!), a good friend & fellow lurcher owner talked me into it, i'd have never had the bollocks to do it without him. now i want to learn a song for him, to say thanks, and "Longdog" by Show of Hands is probably the best! only problem is, there's a few lines of the lyrics i can't figure out from the recording i have (piss-poor sound quality). so.... does anyone have the lyrics? chords would be handy too, but i can probably figure them out. i've got less than a week to learn it, so any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance Oz.

Caravan Monster 323
If I remember correctly, the lyrics are written out on all their CD inlays. Afraid it was someone else' s copy, not mine, so can' t help you.
Ossie 11
thanks for the replies guys! ...Just e mail the guys and ask them? i did think about that, but they've put out books of all the songs, so asking them looks a bit stingy.i'd buy the book, but i'm completely broke! (honestly, you'd think sleeping on the floor at mums would save a few quid...). and it'd probably take ages for them to reply. hi ossie ive got the steve knightley song book got all words for longdog which bit are you struggling with or do you want me to send the whole song you star! if you could send the whole song, that'd be great, i want to make sure i do it properly. does the book have the chords too? pretty much got the chords figured out, but again, i want to make sure i'm doing it right. if you could scan the pages & pm them to me that'd be awesome, or just send me the last 2 verses, cos they're what i'm struggling with. Thankyou!!!
