Maisie 0
Hi, I'm new to the forum, I've registered because I'm seriously considering getting some ferrets and learning to work them. Any advice from experienced ferreters gratefully received!

dogs-n-natives 1,182
Hi, im also a new member. Ive kept and worked ferrets for 14 years. Heres some info that should hopefully help. Well, im not sure how much space you have but I would start by buying a spacious and strong hutch. I think getting two ferrets is best as you always have a spare one when the first tires during a days ferreting. Two jills being the best choise, and I would get them from the same litter when 8 weeks old as they should be getting on fine allready. There pretty clean animals and easy to care for, i would buy a book (of which there are many) to learn in more detail about their upkeep. Please ask for any other problems and I will try to help as best I can. Happy hunting!!
