Simoman 110
I saw a puma in Lincolnshire in 97, definately not a deer, chow chow, domestic cat, fox, badger or trick of the light. This was in daylight and my body was free from alcohol (I think) and drugs. Used to take a lot of interest in sightings, there have been several captures and cats killed in Britain, a jungle cat in Hampshire, a puma near Inverness, a Lynx shot in Suffolk in 91 and many more. Think most people who do see something keep quiet cos of p*ss takers, I know :11: :11:

Guest thunderbelly
could you post some links? This sounds kind of interesting. Over here there were many people raising cougars as pets. There also used to be a Eastern Panther that is now believed to be extinct. Many years ago the government decided all the people who were doing this must licence and pay a fee to continue to do this. There was one fellow who lives about an hour south of here who took offense to this and when the ministry came to check his facilities he had no cougars :search: . There have been many credible sightings of cougars here ever since then. I've seen the proof, my Dad's seen one, Hunting friends have had them walk under their stands while hunting. Bugger is if they are "feral" we can shoot them if they are the Eastern Panther we can not shoot them.

Simoman 110
Yeah, i Know Dalby Hill, used to work at Manby. Saw mine at Laughton, lots of sightings soon after, we had armed officers looking in the woods. Also know somebody (reliable) that told me of a black cat killed by a car near Hemswell, police apparently took away the body.
