Nowdays, unless you live on a farm of some sort it is very difficult to get permission to shoot. As above you can only ask but expect alot of NO Thank yous , just keep going and one will say yes

i dont know how others have found it but i know when i asked for the first time i was lucky enough to get a reply of yes straight away.

 

now i didnt direclty ask for shooting permission, i asked could i train my spaniel on his land, and told him i wanted to give my dog a couple of flushes and chases on rabbits to get him hunting hard, and from there it went to we got loadsa rats, and rabbits, oh an a few pigeon etc etc,,, so i think it all depends on how you aproach the landowner..... i think it helps if you click straight away ???

try some horse stables i have shot many times in fields with horses .no problems .

they like you shooting rabbits .they dig holes ,horses can break a leg then owner of horse sue for costs ect so where ii live there ok with me. dress very very smart when asking.

think baz86 has a good way of gaining permission,

 

but firstly

 

have you got public liability Insurance, as most land owners would expect that at least, do you know what you can, and cant legally shoot

no one can tell you where your going to get permission, its only YOU, that can get it, by being smart,polite, and honest when talking to landowners, and dont turn up in camo's or at tea time,

maybe offer a free helping hand, before trying to gain permission
