richie 1
Ok guys, just had a major breakthrough,Just went out tonight and knocked a few doors in my cul-de-sack and one man at the bottom of my street said that a scruffy man had knocked on his door the day my ferret went missing and asked him could he go in his back garden to get HIS ferret?!?!?! i thought the cheekey B*****d and then the man in the house said the scruffy man walked away to his car with a ferret in his hands! I dont know what to do beacause the man could have stolen him or is just keeping him safe?!?! EDIT:My father thinks he knows the man who picked my ferret up as my father thinks the man is a keen ferreter himself so hes going up his house tommorow with a few of his mates to have a little word with him :realmad: i would be going up there now ! why wait ? especially when you think you know your ferret could be there. Kay 3,709
one way of proving the ferret is yours is if he had been microchipped you can proove it from the details the chip number holds at the national database Quote Link to post

Malt 379
You'll always get some daft replies! How do you know that it wasn't the 'scruffy' man's ferret? If he's a keen ferreter as you say, he's bound to have a few ferts himself. I lost a ferret a few months ago, unhappy ending on that one..., but my point is that ferrets are expert escape artists, and it only takes one tiny lapse in your routine, or a catch to work loose, and the buggers will be gone. But my Brother lost a ferret and it turned up again 9 days later so there is always some hope. Good luck on getting him back. Quote Link to post
Scuzy 1
Hi all, i know that it isnt the scruffy mans ferret beacause he lives nearly a mile away in a different area of my town of Tredegar and he was picking his kids up from the school that is opposite my street, confusing isnt it?! Anyway, like you said ive just been up there anyway now and it turns out after a bit of itarregating that it wasnt his ferret he had just found it and given it to another young lad who i went to see and the ferret has ecsaped from his hutch aswell!!! so ive been scouring that area and nothing but ill be up there again tomorrow and the next day beacause i wont give up he is the best ferret ive ever seen or had and he is worth all of my time and effort if need be. So ill continue looking and ill kepp you updated . Luke. Quote Link to post

Very very very few ferrets are microchipped Glad he is recogniseable due to marks and scars, that would be enough to prove ownership even with the police if it came to that Quote Link to post
Lilyferret 0
Good luck with finding him Quote Link to post
