Takes me back to my first vespa a px 125 and the all nighters at the Outrigger in Birmingham in about 1985 - 1990 Keepin the faith :victory:

 

I loved my old Vespa PX Buster :victory:! I caved it in once when a dog ran out infront of me but it lived again ;).

 

Just found this on Youtube! its a real choker looking back at this clip!! "Band Of Brothers" back then with some good music.....

Nice one jasper , sold my lammy`s 2 years back , an sx200 and a cut down tv175 . Still got a vespa in the garden now :toast:

Well feck me!! The Outrigger/Ship ashore used to be great nights. Also The Crown on Broad Street on Sunday nights before that whole area got tarted up and there was always loads of good nights at Sinatra's between the Police HQ and the catholic cathedral but I don't think that it's there anymore. I left Brum in about 1994. We're you in one of the local SC's. We called ourselfs the Black Country Scooter Rats and it was a couple of the lads (Andy & Neil) who used to DJ at the Ship ashore.

hey up lads, you can't beat a abit of northern. i still go on the scooter rallys been doing it since 83 and still going strong ,still a member of the worksop lions.But sadly the lamy as gone and the kids have arrived.but still manage to get on a few in the car or on the back of my mates.suprising to find some old mods on this site .

I look at some of the footage from the late seventies and earley eighties of the All Dayers and All Nighters and the old Skinhead and Mod stuff and its a choker! where's it all gone? its flown past in a blink and now I'm married with two kids close to the pipe and slippers stage :whistling:.....

Is that second one the original version by James? It sounds so different to the one i'm used to! I love James though, I was listening to some of thier stuff today on my way to the gym actually. :thumbs:

 

Yes missie i think it's the original though it does sound a little odd to the radio verision, gym :blink::laugh::laugh::laugh: :tongue4:

I still have plenty of Singles OTC but have no idea of a good compilation album. here a good couple of tracks which takes it back a bit, by the way its not me dancing in the second one!! I'm better than that ;)....

The finest music ever created :D Oh, the nights i,ve had, either pissed or pilled, in alnighters :D If you werent part of it, you will have no bloody idea what it was like.Think raves, and breakdancing, but 20-30 years ago.The kids of today think they invented "thrills, pills, and bellyaches :D

I think it's called Ton of dynamite by Frankie crocker. Not sure though! So who can dance like that then? :thumbs:
