Nissan X-Trail Sorry everyone, just looked at the price I entered above, it's actually £259.35p..don't know what my fingers were doing! So ... a bargain then!!!! Geoff.C 0
It's still £150 too much Deker. Still, if you want the service history and the warranty to be honored you just have to pay up and smile weakly!! Some places charge £100 for just an oil and filter job, so perhaps it doesn't sound too bad? An annual service on my Suzuki is about £125, cheapo eh?
macberran 2
Deker, if you're in Royal Berkshire it'll be for the air you were breathing when you dropped it off
scottishlass 57
it cost 184.50 to get my subaru serviced 75.00 labour and 27.48 vat but i want to keep the service history up on it
Missie 1
The history on my Subaru has been kept perfectly. The service stamps outrun the boxes for them in the book but i've not really kept it up since I bought it. I get it serviced but the only place it'll go when i've finished with it will be the scrap yard probably, I love it far too much to part with it until its totally dead! Also they wanted to charge me an extra £75 to do the spark plugs etc because of the flat four engine and I did them easily on my own in under half an hour when they said it was easily a half hour job... Missie 1
I was being watched by my uncle to make sure I didn't blow the thing up though! I wouldn't take on something more complicated unless I knew what I was doing. But seeing as I do a fair bit of long distance driving usually on my own or with my daughter in the car it helps to know some basics. I was taught to change a tyre before I could even drive but i've never had to put it to the test thankfully. I have just parted with £123 for 2 new tyres today though.
