why should guests be aloud to view genral threads and some of the others.it doesnt take much to sign up so if you really are intrested in field sports pest control whatever you would like to call it you would take 2 minutes to sign up,Dont you think it would be wise to make the whole forum private unless your a member as then the i.p's will be logged and the antis will know to a certain extent they could be tracked, the site will be alot more safer.

i understand your views as i see you have had a load of crap from anti's.however a closed forum doesnt stop anti's joining! ip addresses dont mean a thing, theyre not personal to an individual user infact hundreds of people may share the same IP.also a closed forum deters people from joining,i for one wouldnt join a forum i couldnt see first! why go through all the rigmeroll of filling out the forms just to see if you like it or not?!

Be an open forum, show we are not ashamed of what we do and what we are.

I suppose I can see both sides here. I'm not anti. I'm genuinely interested in learning more about fieldsports in general and how to work dogs etc. I've been told recently that working folks are "very distrustful of anyone they don't know". I'm feeling a bit frustrated trying to get people to take me seriously  If it were a closed forum I wouldn't be able to come on here and learn the things I'm learning.

Surely I'm not the only newbie who is honestly trying to meet new people and get experience? A closed forum would leave quite a few honest folks like myself feeling a bit lost I think.
