Bushnell scopes?

Recommended Posts

You'll have to be a bit more specific :) Bushnell are a good make, they do scopes from cheap and nasty up to extremely good. I have looked through their Sportsman line and they're not bad for the money. I have a Trophy 4-12x40 on my Ruger 10/22 and it's good. I have looked at the Elite 3200 10x40 and that was a good scope as well.

However depending on the price point they can be beaten so... what price are you looking to pay?

hello

just wondering if anyone can help please. What are those 'Bushnell' scopes like? applied for a .223 on my fac so need to get a rifle and scope. gonna be shooting corvids 200-300yds. thanks

tonetone

hi have the elite 4200 6x24x50 with side px on it. the field of view isnt the best but dont let that put you off mate.

the optics are super clear and the 24 mag comes in handy. i never go above 16mag as i find this more then i need.

there is a picture in my sig its on my hmr rifle. you can pick them up for £300 mate which i find is a bargain they are £600+ in some shops over here and thats if you can find them. i got mine for £285 sceondhand but they came with the 30mm mounts and bc scope covers :D if you cant aford the euro top end scopes like s&b,swaro, etc etc then these are the next best thing. and you wont be sorry if you get one :boogie:;)

i wouldnt use a 10x40 at distance mate. i think these scopes are better off at rimfire ranges

and use a bigger mag out to 200, 300, yards :)

have hmr17 also have discovered mag not strong enough 4 distance shots over 100 yards u recon 16 or 18 mag would suit better

ive got a 6x24x50 mate but i never go over 16 on it really. it depends on what scope you have ie'' 16 mag on a cheap scope isnt going to be as clear as 16 mag on a top end scope. i had a 6.5x20x50 simmons whitetail on my hmr before.

you can get hld of them for £100 pound new from the USA and its very clear mate and very hard to beat for the money.

you wont go wrong with one if you looking for a high mag scope at a bargain price ;) and it has a wide field of view to compared to my bushnell

For bigger mag, MTC and AGS do some high mag scopes that aren't horrendously expensive. Not up to a Bushnell Elite, but not as expensive either.

Jamie - surprised on the bigger mag comments. I have a 7x50 Meopta on my Hornet and dropped a rabbit at 150 the other day no problems. 10 power would do me out to 250 for use on live quarry. Each to their own I guess, but it always surprises me how many ways there are to do the same job!

i no what you mean mate. a 7x50 or 8x50 weather its a meopta,s&b,ziess, swaro. then its going to be very good

and clear on foxes and rabbits out to the ranges you where on about. thats where the price of the scope comes in. and the clearness of the optics on those scopes are great. but some of the cheaper fixed mag scopes wouldnt be as clear as those at that ranges

and if no one can aford those prices of the top fixed mag scopes. then they mite as well get a good clear big mag scope

plus some big mag scopes has differnt aim points on them. and if you can download the charts off the net you can put in the bullet weights and it will tell you where to aim. ie'' it will say at 14 mag 250 yards is the second line with that bullet weight.

then if you see a fox and range him. you no where to aim so thats a good thing about some high mag scopes :boogie::yes:;)

saying that if i have my scope on my hmr at 8 mag at night i never change it. so its like me shooting a fixed mag scope

really. but the top fixed mag scope have a very wide field of view on them which is good as you see more and makes it safer to.
