steezy 1
Steezy i never said none of his terriers work or that you won t get a good un ,what im saying is people should nt be sucked into believing that these we tiny yokes are practical earth dogs for Britain and Ireland .Oh and i don t have 30 years of experience, and what would please you would nt please us Irish ...but pip did you have in Ireland or the UK other den´s of the same Quarry we have here ? As long as they stay until dug to size didn´t matter right ? OK , in real old Castle´s they don´t have enough substanze and they are not the best drawdog´s but there are as many den´s to work with them as you have too tight earth for the bigger dog´s ... if you understand what i mean i know , i know my english sucks but i try ! Limb 31
Pickaxe, I think it was £70 I paid for the first pup from you, truth is i'd of paid alot more. When I handed over the money you apologised and said " if I give another pup away the wifes gonna divorce me". You had no reason to apologise as at that time you didn't know me from Adam, and you also had what I wanted, a proven line of terrier and an honest account of what I was getting i.e. an experimental outcross. Thanks also for the other three saplings i've had from you free of charge, and also the offer of other promising young stock, your a true gent. Quote Link to post

elisderyn 496
Well I have had a pup of Pickaxe for a paltry sum & he was as genuine as the day is long with me. Unfortunately the dog , after a superb 1st season was lost as a result of poisoning as is always the way with decent workers... I lost touch with Pickaxe & I suspect the rumourmill was to blame but If you want to pm me to talk things through G I'm happy to do that... All the best.....Taffy Quote Link to post
