DB99 0 Posted February 20, 2008 Report Share Posted February 20, 2008 (edited) Hi all this season ive decided i am going to get some ferrets(2), but im not sure what to get, a hob and a jill or two jills? ive heard that a hob and a jill are a good working team. if i do get a hob and a jill and i get the hob vasectaminsed can they be kept together all year? will two jills work well together? and would there be any fighting when they come into season? any help will be appreiciated i thought it would be better to find out now and not the hard way P.S how much can im get an locator and collar for, anything for £40-50 ish cheers when will kits be available? dytkos 17,813 Posted February 20, 2008 Report Share Posted February 20, 2008 My advice, IMO, read up on all you can on this forum regarding ferret welfare, housing, breeding, feeding, working etc. Then make sure you are fully prepared to ensure their continued well being then get as many as you need/want/can work/ look after. stubby 175 Posted February 21, 2008 Report Share Posted February 21, 2008 in answer to your questions, yes a vasectamised hob and jill can live together all the time no, 2 jills in season should'ent fight, but they will stay in season, until brought out of it, either with a intact hob a vasectamised hob jill jab from vets so I'd say, go with the hob and jill option Quote Link to post
