beddlingtons

Recommended Posts

I support bedlingtons to the full, they get a lot of stick from terrier men & others, but i'll say it myself its f*****g ridiculous to say that the bedlington is a lamping dog. To me this only going to make the beddy moor a laugh for these Doubters. Come on get sensable.

Have lamped my beddy a few times , just to get out for an hour or two and a laugh ! Yes they might pick up a squatter , but when they get out run its nose down and clear the area of any wild life . I put a lot of time and effort into my dog but to make him into a lamping dog  Urine extraction comes to mind !

i have seen a lads bedlington on here, he answered to my post in the lurcher and hounds etc section on my pups first run and it looked so racey it would deffinately do for lamping, and this was supposed to be a streight beddo. this is the exception though and there must have been some outcrossing further back in the dogs ancestry. nice dog though, and somehow dont think sue has one of the same strain.

When i first had my bedlington, jack, i met a guy with 2 beddys, bloody horrible show types, they even looked a pinky colour in early morning light, any way my old lurcher jess (r i p) was about 20/21 inch, and these 2 ugly things were bigger than her. The thing is onto the lamping thing a TERRIER is a TERRIER and should kept so not a pretend running dog.

Cheers :drink:
