TerrierLad 0
Yep i have a bedlington 8 month old, hasnt done much, trying hard and showing promise but cant find anything about at the mo.. still very early days and no pressure on her. Were all intrested in seeing pics of working beddys, because theres very little workers about, dont get offended sue :peace: Edited February 20, 2008 by TerrierLad Quote Link to post
twotone 6
There are beddies out there some bushing, ratting and some doing earthwork. Trouble is they are few and far between compared to most other "working terriers". You would probably have to convince the majority of terrier men/women about their ability and if you have to be convinced then a beddie probably is not for you . The topic working bedlington has 73 pages, have a look thru and you'll see there are some out there. Quote Link to post
kvnmcwebn 0
sue are you taking the piss? I just read a post on the running dog forum where you recommended a straight beddy to a guy asking what type of lurcher would be good for lamping and ferriting. Quote Link to post

nealey 0
the parents of my beddy use them for ground work as well as lamping ,whats this pick on me or beddlingtons Why should i pick on bedlingtons, I own one, yes they have stamina mine would rat all day,but i know for a fact he'd be no good for lamping, and that go's for any other i've come across. So we go every one will be coming out of the wood work now with storys & pics of rabbits lamped by beddy's, their 20 a night lampiing beddy. Quote Link to post
oyama 27
No one is picking on you,but you seem a bit inconsistant as on wbt forum you say you only take rabbits. So everyone treats newbee's with a bit of suspicion especially when some statements are a little off centre,so to speak. There is bound to be anti's trying to get on this forum. sue 1
i mostly take rabbits because that is what is mainly called for around me and now charlie is getting harder to find ,its agriculture land around me thats why i have many ferrets to go ferreting with Quote Link to post
