been looking at land for sale quite cheap, just wondering has any one done this and made money out of it, im thinkin of a budget of 25 grand

Unscrupulous people with excess money are buying land and property just to make obscene profits, leaving people who actually need the land and property, but have not got the money, with no hope. :thumbdown:

Yeh!! fair comment, I'm just pissed off with all the property developers who are buying up all the small houses in rural areas and turning them into mansions, then sell them off to people who have the dosh, depriving our children of any hope of staying local.

Rant over :whistling::whistling:

What are you gona want to do with the land ?

If you buy a "buy to let" house and rent it out you would need at least 15% to put down but at least you would get some money in to either pay the mortgage or a bit over.

I hear what you say and can relate to it 100% because my lad has just bought his first house with his girlfriend but cannot afford to live here so has moved about 50 miles away (50 Miles further away from London) and saved about £60-70k on the same house here. The big BUT is that he's a fighter, he is p****d off and vowed to make the money and be sussessful and be back!!! Frankly that's why I have very little sympathy for "MOST" (Definately not all). Simplistic view perhaps, but I can't help thinking if people put as much effort into making it happen as so many do about complaining "we can't" they may get on a lot better! We live in a society where if you get off your arse YOU can do it! :thumbs:
